All applications received by Trinity Academy after the closing date for applications on 31st October 2018, will be considered to be late applications. If you wish your child to be considered in further rounds of allocation for places, please submit a late application by the deadline of 9am on Monday 13th May 2019 by clicking here.
Why has my child been unsuccessful in gaining a place at Trinity Academy?
Following the outcome of the first round allocation of places, 71 applicants requested to go on the waiting list which included 31 late applicants.
Trinity Academy had 48 places to re offer in the second round. The school remains oversubscribed; the waiting list was re ranked in line with the over subscription criteria, in order of priority, as set out in the admission arrangements 2019/20 to reallocate these places. This included a fresh round of random allocation, supervised by an independent person. Remaining unsuccessful applicants were drawn randomly and placed on to the waiting list.
2nd Round allocation
0 places have been reserved at the request of the SEN team for children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
The 120 places have been allocated by applying the over subscription criteria, in order of priority, as set out in the published admission arrangements 2019/20 for the 2nd round of allocation:
Trinity Academy received 221 on-time applications for the 120 places available and was therefore unable to offer places to every applicant who applied.
1 place was reserved at the request of the SEN team for children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
The remaining 119 places were allocated by applying the over subscription criteria, in order of priority, as set out in the published admission arrangements 2019/20 for the 1st round of allocation:
Parents have the right of appeal under The Education Act to an independent panel, against the decision not to offer your child a place at Trinity Academy for September 2019.
